Product details

Single girder EOT crane is a small and light lifting equipment.

Widely used in industrial plants, warehouses, workshops, stockyards, workstations, freight yards, etc. It looks like a bridge because both ends of the beam are on tall concrete columns and metal supporting structures. It consists of metal structure, crane walking mechanism, crane structure, safety protection and operation.

Why choose a single girder EOT crane?

Designed and produced in accordance with national standards, it has a competitive advantage and is widely welcomed in the crane industry.

1. The main beam of the crane is composed of high-quality steel and u-shaped grooves, which can withstand all horizontal, vertical and torsional forces. The main beam is connected by bolts; the end beam is welded by rectangular steel tubes or high-quality steel.

2. Crane traveling mechanism adopts its own drive.

The driving mechanism of the trolley is driven by two electric motors with a conical rotor through a gear reducer.

Its compact structure makes it small and light.

Installation is quick and easy.

The single girder EOT crane span structure moves longitudinally on the paved tracks on both sides of the support structure.

It can make full use of space to lift materials without being hindered by ground equipment.

It is considered to be the most widely used lifting machine.

Single girder EOT crane and double girder EOT crane

Enterprises that require cranes are often in industrial enterprises, and large components are often moved from one location to another. You can have a large warehouse where several tons of products are stored and transported every day, and in order to transport them correctly, you need an EOT crane. You probably don't need a larger gantry crane, and generally its legs are angled to the top of the beam to provide additional support. You may only need one or two cranes, each crane has one or two beams.

1.Single girder EOT crane

Single girder EOT cranes named single girder overhead cranes. The end carriage is part of the crane and will move along the girders above. Buildings with single beams are usually designed to be lighter, weighing only a few tons at a time. However, if you need extra support because of the size of your material you are moving, Double girder EOT crane may be what you need.

2.Double girder EOT crane

These are exactly the same single girder EOT cranes except they have an extra beam. As you can imagine, this is to add weight. Without this extra beam, once the weight exceeds a certain limit, the entire system will be endangered. That's why you need to know what the average weight is, as well as the maximum weight that most products you will handle on a regular basis.

Advantages

If you are going to buy an EOT crane, you may have to choose between a single girder crane and a double girder crane. Although each style has advantages and disadvantages, you may want to consider using a single girder overhead crane. Here are some of the advantages they provide:

1. Lower prices. Needless to say, the cost of a single girder EOT crane is usually lower than a double girder EOT crane. If you think about it, it makes sense. After all, by eliminating one of the main beams, much less material is needed to complete the design. In addition, trolleys designed for single girder EOT cranes are much simpler than trolleys designed for double girder EOT cranes. Again, this can help lower the overall purchase price and make these cranes an economical choice.

2. Lighter weight. By eliminating the second girder and most of the supporting structure required for a double girder crane, the single girder model is lighter. This helps reduce the structural support requirements of the building.

3. Cheaper installation. Due to the relatively light weight and minimalist design of single girder cranes, their installation costs tend to be much lower. Normally, there is no need to add additional structural support to the building to support the weight of the crane. This is not the case for double girder cranes, as many double girder cranes are very heavy and require additional support. Using a single girder EOT crane not only saves the cost of the crane itself, but also saves installation costs. That's why these cranes are a good choice for companies with limited budgets.
